Spring Minis {Goldenbelt Studio} Durham, NC Children's Photographer
We did our spring mini sessions this year in the studio! Thankfully I made that choice since the date I chose was cold, rainy and windy! I had all girls this year and it was a blast! Here are a few shots I just loved! I am moving out of the studio and back to full time outdoor and "in my kitchen" newborn sessions at the end of April. April is super full of newborns, smash cakes, brides and littles and I couldn't be more excited!!!
7 day new baby Jacob {Newborn Session} Durham, NC Newborn Photographer
Sweet Jacob was seven days new at his session. I met him at his house in Durham and did his session there. He wanted to stay awake and play with me for most of his session, but he did love to be swaddled! We weren't able to get any poses of him on his belly because it just did not agree with his milk very well. :) We still got some super adorable shots of him though! Enjoy!

5 days new baby Paisley {Newborn Session} Durham, NC Newborn Photographer
I have to say this sweet girl has gone down in LSP history as the sleepiest and easiest 8+lb baby I have EVER worked with! I certainly love a challenge when it comes to newborns and love every single one of my sessions, but I wont lie when I say this was so simple! I wonder if 5 days is the magic number? Maybe I should start keeping track! haha! Not to mention I absolutely LOVED shooting in the studio. Gosh I am going to miss that when our lease is up and I'm back to my kitchen. (Don't get me wrong, I love those sessions too!) I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images of sweet Paisley! I can't wait to finish the disk and send it off to this sweet family. I have a seven day old baby boy tomorrow morning!!!

4 days new baby Nolan {Newborn Session} Durham, NC Newborn Photographer
Nolan came to see me in the studio on Monday. He was the most alert and awake 4 day old I have ever met! He was so strong I would try to position him and I swear he looked at me and said "no way!" lol. Nevertheless, it was wonderful working with him and so much fun!

In the studio! Durham, NC Children Photographer
Heidi and I only have the lease on the studio for two months and we want to make the best out of it! We have about three to five options for younger children in the studio and a TON of options for newborns! I just had to share some shots I have taken in there as we set up! I still have two spaces available for minis on March 30th! Feel free to email me at LaurenSoignetPhotography@hotmail.com

{Big News!} Durham, NC Children's Photography Studio
Big News!!!!
Hey everyone! I just got a sublease on an incredibly cute, natural light studio downtown! Have you heard of Golden Belt?! It's pretty much amazing! If things go well who knows, maybe one day I will actually get a full lease on one of my very very own. But for now, the next two months for sure and possibly one more after that, it is allllllllllllll mine! (And Heidi's, because we are going to share!)
We have big plans and can't wait to move in on Monday! We're already dreaming up adorable backdrops and fun ideas for these indoor sessions. I am thinking cake smash, 6 month photos, of course newborns and more!
Email me soon to get on my calendar before it fills up!

Newborn Session {Twins C+C} Durham, NC Newborn Photographer
This was a wonderful session. These sweet twins, Channing and Colton were so good and so was big brother, Collins! Little sister was awake for 85% of our session but we certainly managed to capture her wonderfully. Thanks to my amazing friend Heidi from over at Heidi Joy Photography I had an extra set of hands for posing and assisting me with this session. I couldn't do twins without her! These sweet twins were 9 days old and only about 5 lbs each! I'm so excited to have two more newborn sessions scheduled for this month. It has been so nice transforming my kitchen into a mini studio! It really makes all the difference in the world being able to have my large space heater as well as knowing my lighting is going to be good instead of wondering what I'm getting into when I go to new placed. I'm thankful my husband doesn't mind moving our super heavy dining room table into the living room and my clients don't mind a table in the living room. ;) I hope you enjoy my work! I can't wait to finish up this families session and send it on over to their dropbox!!!
