I had no idea that when I got to ATC this morning I was going to get to photograph a little redhead. They even call him "Boogie" just like I call my little redhead! Poor little guy was not feeling well and only wanted mommy. However, as soon as he tasted his first taste of that cake, he was all smiles! Happy first birthday, Noah!

Still Life take 2- Bean Traders
If you know me at all, you know my very favorite local spot here in Durham is Bean Traders. As some of you may remember, I was asked back in January to help with the stores website makeover! You may recognize some of my photos at the top of their website. Since then, I was asked to come back and do some shots of other things for the site! I'm not sure which (if any) of these will be used on the website, but I wanted to share! I have been spending many mornings and some afternoons at this location for many many years now. If you want to feel right at home, you need to go there. Now. :)
Tell me it's not the most adorable shop ever?! Right?!

Newborn- Oliver
I had a wonderful session this morning with a local family that found my card at my favorite local coffee shop. (You may recognize some of my photos on the top of their website!) This family just brought home a new baby brother. He was only two weeks old today. I enjoyed meeting this family. I even had my great friend and college from over at Heidi Joy Photography come along and work with me. She was awesome at getting baby Oliver to sleep! Thanks, Heidi!!! I hope you enjoy some of the sneak peeks from this mornings session before I finish up editing!

Locke/Bray Wedding- Durham, NC
I was honored when asked to shoot my very first wedding. I am not typically a wedding photographer, but a friend asked me if I would be interested in shooting a friend of hers small intimate wedding. It was all outdoors and there were 50 guests. I was nervous at first, but as I got to know the bride and groom, I was so excited! The wedding was gorgeous and went off without a hitch. I am so glad to have had this experience. Congratulations to Emily and Jordan. It was so wonderful to meet you and I hope to take more pictures of your beautiful selves in the future! Enjoy this sneak peek of the beautiful afternoon!

She said I could share, so here are a few. I cannot wait to watch them tie the knot tomorrow. It has been a blast getting to now them as they planned their wedding!

Beach Session: Family
When I set up the Senior Session for the Eno last week, it was originally supposed to be a whole family. The graduates brother is in the Marine Corps and ended up not able to make it. I found out I would be at the beach while she was graduating from UNC-Wilmington and asked if her brother would be there. Since he was, I offered to do some quick family photos for them. I have a special place in my heart for Marines! I don't have my editing software, so I will share more next week! It's about to be the busiest week LSP has had yet. Stay tuned for three newborns, bridal portraits and a wedding this week!!!!

Sisters- ATC
What fun sisters to work with. At 25 and 16, these sisters are a whopping nine years apart! Who would imagine they would be best friends? A mom and dad's dream, I am sure! Another super fun session at the American Tobacco Campus. You ladies rocked your session!
