I had a blast with Graham at his newborn session last year. He was one of the first babies I did the head in hand pose with and we included a baseball which I then named him my "Baseball Baby." I just knew when he came for his first birthday session he needed to have a baseball!

Connor fought me hard. He spent some time in the NICU with pneumonia and boy is he a fighter! I loved every minute snuggling with him. His favorite pose was the head in the hands pose and every other pose I put him in he squirmed and woke up. Big brother even stopped by for a few shots before he went on a very special daddy date! (I like to keep the toddler time quick during my newborn sessions as not to interrupt the feel and flow of the newborn portion.)

Jace was my last baby born in 2015 and my first to photograph in 2016! He is one of my few siblings who I have also photographed his older sister as a newborn. I think I have only had about 5 or 6 siblings that I have also done their newborns. It's crazy and so beautiful to watch all of these families grow.
In 2016 I am planning to focus my work even more on newborns. I took that leap mid year in 2015 and have done more and more newborns. I also want to continue to follow through the first year milestones. Don't worry! I will still do fall mini sessions and possibly other minis throughout the year!
I love how my style is evolving into something I truly love. This is an art and a wonderful hobby of mine. My family comes first and this is what I do for fun. I hope everyone enjoys my work as much as I love creating it.
I can't wait to meet more babies this year!
Another December baby and more Christmas props. I also loved that mom picked the pill box hat for the head in hands pose. I always let the parents pick from my prop stash (it's not much, but I do have some cute things!) No one had ever chosen it and I think for a little girl named Vivian, it was perfect!
