Thank you so much for your interest in my photography. I have had an enthusiasm for photography since I was a child. I remember my dad having a huge camera around his neck at all family gatherings and I always wanted to take pictures. I used a point and shoot to take maternity and newborn photos when my first niece was born in 2009. I finally saved up and had help from family members to purchase my first DSLR and with the help from my super talented friend Heidi from over at Heidi Joy Photography I learned to take it off auto! I have been shooting newborns and children as well as families since.
My passion is capturing the moments and the feelings and not just “cheese” face for you to hold onto forever. I want your grandchildren to look back at these images and not just see them but feel them. Feel the laughter, the love and the vibes. My background in childhood education(I taught first grade for 5 years) as well as being a homeschooling mom of two (7 and 2) I find children easy and fun to work with.
I pride myself on the simplicity of my work when it comes to backgrounds, colors and overall composition. I tend to keep my colors neutral in my small in home studio sessions and love a good simple location for outdoor sessions.
Each package is all inclusive with hand edited high-resolution digital images for you to download. You will receive rights to print and copy as you wish.
I am always available to chat about outfits, locations and your visions before we go into a session.
